Our guests this week were boarding the Cocos Island Aggressor on the 16 December at 16:30 pm with people from very different countries like Canada, Finland, France, USA, United Kingdom, all of them full of expectations about Cocos Island.
First day we dove Chatham Bay for the check dive, where is easy to check our buoyancy and equipment , and also we had lots of fish and white tips sharks wherever you look that was a good sign for what was coming.
The usual schools of fish were also there, like the snappers, goat fish, tile fish, soldier fish, frog fish, lobsters, moray eels and much more.
Weather this week was nice, we had a fair amount of rain and sun, all the guest worked on their tan and the underwater condition changed towards the end of the week and a thermocline came up stirring the underwater life so the white tip sharks and marble rays came up to shallow waters to dodge the cold water where we could take awesome pictures of them.
But for sure, apart from the sharks, one of the highlights of the trip was to dive with dolphins in Alcyone! Unforgettable.
We had an amazing group and excellent diving.
Stay tuned for more!
