Saturday, November 2nd
The group from Island Hoppers join the Belize Aggressor IV the adventure this week, Exploring the Underwater World Around Belize!
Sunday, November 3rd
The skies were clear and the Daylight wasn’t ready to start when Belize Aggressor IV Departed Her Homeport at Fort George Marina. Several guests were up enjoying the smooth ride across the flats to make our way towards Turneffe Caye and our first dive site called Sandy Slope.
After enjoying two wonderful dives at Sandy Slope, we made our way to Long Caye and the dive site Long Caye Ridge. Between these two sites we encountered a variety of Marine Life. Some of what we enjoyed was Huge Barrel Sponges, Colorful Sea Whips, Common Sea Fans, Queen Angelfish, Cero Mackerel, Black and Nassau Groupers. Arrow Crabs, Goldentail and Spotted Moray Eels, Yellow and Southern Stingrays, Snappers, Jacks, Blennies, Caribbean Reef Sharks and Some Very Friendly Nurse Sharks.
Monday, November 4th
Monday we spent several hours underwater at Half Moon Caye Wall and Long Caye Wall. Guests had a busy day shooting pictures and videos of Colorful Shallow Reef and Walls, School of Big Blue Parrotfishes, Ocean Triggerfishes, Arrow Blennies, Feeding Tarpons, Pipefish, Caribbean Reef Sharks, Spotted Eagle Rays, Octopus and Spotted Eagle Rays.
Tuesday, November 5th
Today was Chain Wall and Quebrada. It was a nonstop day with enjoyable marine life encounters. Some of the marine life we enjoyed was Caribbean and spotted Lobsters, Arrow and Sailfin Blennies, Big Channel Clinging Crabs, Southern and Caribbean Whiptail Stingrays, Nurse and Caribbean Reef Sharks, Spotted Eagle Rays, Large Baiball of Silversides next to the vessel with Snappers, Tarpons and other fish swimming through feeding, Octopuses and add a couple of Huge Loggerhead Turtles made for an amazing day exploring.
Wednesday, November 6th
Today we Explored Lighthouse Wall and Aquarium where we Encountered Queen Angelfishes, Ocean Triggerfish, Tarpons, Jacks, Hundreds of Creole Wrasses, Huge barrel Sponges, Porcupinefish, Banded Coral Shrimps, Arrow Blennies, Globular Encrusting Tunicates, Doctorfishes, Coneys, Caribbean Spiny Lobsters, Huge Channel Clinging Crabs, Caribbean Reef Sharks, Spotted Eagle Rays, hawksbill and Loggerhead Turtles, Squids and Octopuses.
Thursday, November 7th
Painted Wall and Uno Coco was our last two dive sites before traveling back to Explore more the Underwater World off Turneffe Caye. During our underwater time at these two wonderful sites, we enjoyed Schools of Chub, Jack, Creole Wrasses, a few Queen Angelfish, Trumpetfish, Green Moray Eels, Caribbean Reef Sharks, Hawksbill and Loggerhead Turtles and Beautiful Spotted Eagle Rays!
Friday, November 8th
Our final stop was on the Westside of Turneffe Caye at the dive site called Amberhead South. This Colorful Reef Starts Shallow and if you desire you can follow that sloping colorful reef down to deeper waters. Divers enjoyed Angelfishes, Groupers, Butterflyfish, banded Coral Shrimps, Arrow Crabs, Sharknose Blennies, Southern and Caribbean Whiptail Stingrays, Goldentail Moray Eels and Friendly Nurse Sharks.
