Saturday – Welcome Aboard
Under warm skies, we welcomed 15 eager guests aboard the Cayman Aggressor. Captain Josh, with support from the staff, conducted the welcome and safety briefing while guests enjoyed a cheese platter and wine prepared by Chef Fabian. After a hearty salmon dinner, everyone retired early, ready for the diving adventures ahead.

Sunday – George Town, White Stroke Canyon & Oro Verde
We departed George Town Yacht Club at 6:00 am. The first dive greeted guests with reef fish, parrotfish, and groupers. At White Stroke Canyon, both a ray and an eagle ray glided gracefully by. After a delicious lunch, guests relaxed on the sundeck before heading out for three dives at Oro Verde. Here, they encountered octopus, spotted drum, shrimp, seahorse, and another ray. The day ended with dinner, a night dive, and a restful evening at Oro Verde.

Monday – The Maze, Eagle Ray Rock & Governor’s Reef
At 5:00 am, we moved to the south side of Grand Cayman. Guests enjoyed breakfast with a breathtaking sunrise before diving The Maze, where they encountered reef sharks, groupers, and parrotfish. After lunch and some time in the sun, we explored Eagle Ray Rock, spotting a turtle, trumpetfish, and barracuda.

Dinner was followed by a night dive at Governor’s Reef, where divers discovered spotted eels, octopus, and a baby hawksbill turtle.

Tuesday – Kittiwake, Doc Poulson & Crossing to Little Cayman
A calm morning brought us to the wreck of the Kittiwake for two dives. Divers were thrilled to explore its decks and passages, finding turtles, stingrays, pufferfish, and a peacock flounder. After a festive Taco Tuesday lunch, the afternoon dives took place at Doc Poulson, where a nurse shark, channel crabs, rainbow parrotfish, and a variety of reef life filled the site.

Dinner featured chicken or mahi mahi as the yacht began its crossing to Little Cayman. Despite some swell, conditions were smoother than predicted, and we arrived by 3:30 am to moor for the night.

Wednesday – Little Cayman: Marilyn’s Cut, Sarah’s Set & The Meadows
Our arrival at Little Cayman was met with excitement. The first dives at Marilyn’s Cut revealed turtles, lemon rays, and Chester the friendly grouper. After lunch, we headed to Sarah’s Set, where divers encountered spotted drum, nurse sharks, green moray eels, and more turtles.

That evening’s night dive at The Meadows produced sightings of octopus, squid, and another spotted drum. A distant lightning show added dramatic flair to the calm night.

Thursday – Tibbetts, Randy’s Gazebo, Great Wall & Joy’s Joy
We began with a sunrise dive on the wreck of the Captain Keith Tibbetts, where turtles, lionfish, parrotfish, and rays kept divers busy. At Randy’s Gazebo, sightings included a reef shark, turtles, and an arrowhead crab. After a hearty pork chop lunch, we continued to the Great Wall, where nurse sharks, turtles, and an eagle ray highlighted the dive. The final dive at Joy’s Joy revealed green morays, spotted drum, and barracuda.

That evening, during our crossing back to Grand Cayman, guests enjoyed Rocke’s trip video, which was a huge hit. The crossing was smooth and comfortable.

Friday – Big Tunnels & Farewell
Our final day began with two spectacular dives at Big Tunnels, where guests encountered turtles, pufferfish, snapper, and schools of reef fish. After returning to port, the evening concluded with a wine and cheese party on the sundeck.

Special congratulations to Alan for completing his Nitrox certification, and to Ryan, Kevin, and Martin for achieving Iron Diver status by completing all 25 dives of the week.

With calm seas, great visibility, and an adventurous group of divers, this week aboard the Cayman Aggressor was filled with unforgettable memories, from wrecks and reefs to sharks, rays, turtles, and night-time wonders. Until next time, safe travels and happy bubbles!
